Julian Valdivieso is a highly visual 22 year old director based in Los Angeles, California.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas. Julian gained an interest in filmmaking ever since the age of 11 after picking up an old camcorder and putting together fun short films. Though, he started taking the craft seriously in high school where he also won a few student film awards. Not only did he start from directing, but naturally works as a multi-hyphenate where he produces, shoots, edits, writes, storyboards, and plays with visual effects. Shortly after high school, he took the no film school route and worked as a Production Assistant for Bear Hands Media, a video-advertisement agency. He also attended workshops at the New York Film Academy, LA Directors Lab and for acclaimed commercial director/mentor Jordan Brady . After taking the learning-by-doing route, he went on to build a commercial director showreel that showcases his aesthetic and artistic sensibilities. On top of that, his work has generated over 150,000 views and counting on social media platforms.

Julian strives to incorporate pure entertainment and unleash a striking filmmaking style. Whether it be from a music video, commercial, or film.
